DRE Projects (Pty) Ltd is a civil, structural and project management consultancy which has been recently founded in 2018. It has been formed with a background of 15 years industry experience, by Duran Rammanhor, Pr Tech Eng. The company is based in the Durban (South Africa) area, and offers both civil and structural engineering services, project management and other services. DRE Projects is rated B-BEEE LEVEL 2 with a recognition level of 135%.

This credit is symbolic in the company’s drive to Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act No. 53 of 2003. The company currently carries Professional Indemnity Cover (PI Cover) of R5 million.

Director

Duran Rammanhor is a professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng). Over the span of his career, he has progressed from the role of Junior Technician, Senior Technician, Shareholder at a structural company to the Director his current company, DRE Projects (Pty) Ltd. During his 15 years’ industry experience he has undertaken the design and implementation of an array of engineering projects.

His project portfolio ranges from residential, commercial and educational infrastructures servicing both the private and governmental sectors throughout South Africa. Duran is affiliated and registered with the following statutory bodies: Engineering Council of South Africa (Pr Tech Eng); South African Institute of Civil Engineers (Professional Member); National Home Builder’s Registration Council (Competent Engineer); and South African Institute of Steel Construction (Professional Member).
